The Walt Bodine Show (KCUR) "American Volulnteerism Abroad"

There was an interesting segment on my local NPR station today about American volunteers abroad:

Join us for a conversation on American volunteerism abroad, from service work during World War I to Peace Corps volunteers around the world today. We'll talk about how current events in international relations affect the kind of reception service workers experience overseas. We'll also hear about the goals and motivations of volunteers, and find out how well those correspond to the desires of those receiving the benefits of their service.

GUESTS
Nova Maack, President of The Greater Kansas City Area Returned Peace Corps Volunteers
Dr. Christopher McDonald, Political Science Professor at Lincoln Land Community College.

*NOTE: around half the show is about WWI volunteers - it's all mixed together*
